Good collaboration between data
supervisors, data guardians and data producers is very much needed in the
preparation of Regions in Figures (DDA). Therefore, the Focuss Group Discussion
of Salatiga City Publications in Figures 2022 & Development of Sectoral
Statistics is carried out as a forum for synchronization and evaluation of the
preparation of Salatiga City Publications in Figures in order to obtain data
that is maintained in quality, as well as sectoral statistical development at
the same time.
The event, which was held by BPS
Salatiga City on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Laras Asri Hotel, Salatiga
City, was attended by 31 institutions both from the Salatiga City government
and from vertical agencies in the Salatiga City area. In this activity Prof.
Dr. Benny Ridwan, M.Hum explained about Population Issues, and the meaning
behind the numbers “What's Behind the Numbers?” which is the best way to
enlighten human mindset and progress.
Head of BPS Salatiga City, Satriono,
S.Si, MM, in his presentation conveyed about BPS Institutional Duties including
the mandate of the law as the legal basis for BPS, activities and outputs
produced by BPS, overseeing priority activities, BPS as a coach in One
Indonesian Data, and the Integrated Statistical Service of the BPS Salatiga
City.
With the implementation of this FGD
activity, coordination and verification of sectoral statistical data from
OPD/institutions/institutions as data producers can be carried out properly, so
that the quality of data is maintained.
