Focus Group Discussion on Public Service Standards to Improve Service Quality

Tuesday, May 6, 2025 - BPS- Statistics Salatiga Municipality held a Public Service Standards FGD (Focus Group Discussion) activity as a means to receive input from every element of the community that uses BPS data in Salatiga City. Present at the event were representatives from various elements such as the community using BPS Salatiga City services, experts/practitioners, academics, Regional Apparatus Organizations, mass media, and teams from BPS- Statistics Salatiga Municipality.
The activity was opened by Aguskadaryanto, Head of BPS- Statistics Salatiga Municipality who in his speech emphasized the importance of this event to ensure certainty, transparency, and accountability of public services. FGD participants actively provided input on the draft service standards, both in terms of requirements, completion time, costs, and complaint mechanisms.
The results of this FGD are the basis for the preparation of Public Service Standards that are more in line with the needs of the community. And this FGD is a means to improve public services.
