Enumerator Training for 2024 Village Potential Data Collection BPS-Statistics Salatiga Municipality

Today, Thursday, April 25 2024, at the BPS-Statistics Salatiga Municipality Office Hall, enumerator training for village potential data collection (PODES) 2024 is being carried out, which is being attended by 8 participants consisting of 4 BPS organic people and 4 statistical partners. Meanwhile, the regional instructor is the functional official of the First Expert Statistics of BPS-Statistics Salatiga Municipality, Dite Taufiq Musthafa. This offline training lasts for 1 day with a full day system. Meanwhile, two days earlier, namely from 23-24 April 2024, training was also carried out online.

After receiving training, enumerator will carry out field data collection in May 2024. The respondents for this data collection are from the sub-districts and districts throughout Salatiga Municipality as well as related agencies. The purpose of PODES data collection is to produce data that describes the potential of an area, the availability of infrastructure/facilities, and socio-economic conditions in each sub-district. Podes data can be used as reference material for development policy makers of the Salatiga Municipality Government.

This PODES data collection activity is also an implementation of BPS's duties as organizer of basic statistics collection in accordance with the mandate of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics. (SE)
