On Thursday,
December 9, 2021, the Head of the Central Statistics Agency for the City of
Salatiga, Satriono, S.Si, MM, submitted strategic data for the City of Salatiga
in 2021 in the form of the Human Development Index (IPM), Macro Poverty Data,
and Employment Data to the Mayor of Salatiga, Yuliyanto, SE, MM. In addition, a
grant from the Central Statistics Agency was also handed over to the Salatiga
City Government in the form of an old office building of the Salatiga City BPS
office located at Jalan Menur No. 27C Salatiga.
The Human
Development Index (HDI) of Salatiga City in 2021 has increased compared to the
previous year. The HDI of Salatiga City in 2021 is 83.60 or growing 0.55
percent (an increase of 0.46 points) compared to the achievement in 2020. The
increase in Salatiga City's HDI in 2021 is supported by improvements in all its
constituent components.
The development of
the poverty line in Salatiga City in the 2016-2021 period shows that the
Salatiga City poverty line continues to increase from year to year. In 2021,
the Salatiga City poverty line will be above the National poverty line, besides
that the Salatiga City poverty line will always be above the Central Java
Province poverty line. The poverty line of Salatiga City in 2021 is IDR
480,903, - per capita per month. With the increase in the Poverty Line in 2021,
the poverty rate will also increase from 4.94 percent in 2020 to 5.14 percent
in 2021. The number of poor people will increase from 9,690 people in 2020 to
10,140 people in 2021.
The total
workforce in August 2021 was 112,124 people, an increase of 1,868 people
compared to the workforce in August 2020. In line with this increase, the Labor
Force Participation Rate (TPAK) was recorded to have increased slightly to
70.36 percent. The open unemployment rate (TPT) in August 2021 was 7.26 percent
or 8,125 people.
This data
submission is an implementation of the Cange Agen Network Program, namely KISS
(We Love Free) in the context of implementing the Law on Public Information
Disclosure. With these statistical data, stakeholders in Salatiga City can make
the right decisions based on accurate data.
