Training for Special Survey Officers: Study on the Preparation of Inventory Revisions (SKSPPI) 2026

September 17, 2026 | BPS Activities

On Thursday, September 17, 2026, BPS-Statistics of Salatiga Municipality conducted training for prospective field officers for the 2026 Special Survey on Inventory Change Compilation (SKSPPI). The SKSPPI 2026 is a BPS survey designed to provide an overview of the quantity and value of inventory positions at the beginning and end of the year. Additionally, it aims to identify inventory patterns and structures categorized by commodity, business sector, and quarter. The survey also seeks to gather information on inventory-to-output value ratios and their patterns across various business sectors, as well as data regarding fixed assets.

The training was attended by eight enumerators (statistical partners), two supervisors, and one "Fasih" administrator from BPS-Statistics of Salatiga Municipality. Aulia Fatin Afifah, a Junior Statistician at BPS-Statistics of Salatiga Municipality, presented material covering the concepts, definitions, and data collection procedures for the SKSPPI 2026. The participants followed the presentation closely and actively engaged in discussions and Q&A sessions regarding potential issues that might arise in the field.

Through this training, it is expected that all officers will be able to conduct data collection effectively—adhering to established procedures and schedules—thereby ensuring the production of high-quality data.
