Training of Sub-district Statistics Agents and Launching of Love Statistics Sub-district 2025

On May 14, 2025, BPS-Statistics of Salatiga Municipality together with the Salatiga Municipality Government carried out the Launching of Kelurahan Cinta Statistik 2025. This activity was attended by the Mayor of Salatiga who also inaugurated the Launching of Kelurahan Cantik 2025, namely Sidorejo Kidul Village after previous years there were 4 villages (Tingkir Tengah, Randuacir, Bugel and Kecandran). This activity was attended by all village heads and statistical agents in all villages of Salatiga Municipality.

In his speech, the Mayor of Salatiga conveyed that accurate and reliable statistical data is very important in the planning, implementation and evaluation process of development and with the Collaboration of the Salatiga Municipality Government, BPS-Statistics, Villages and Statistics Agents, evidence-based policy or evidence-based development governance can be realized. This activity was also combined with training for statistical agents from the villages the following day with speakers from Communication and Information Services and BPS-Statistics of Salatiga Municipality.

Hopefully, with the existence of Kelurahan Cinta Statistik, it can improve the competence, literacy, awareness and active role of the community in organizing statistics and the kelurahan has interesting data and visualizations that are easily accessible to the public, as conveyed by Kelurahan Randuacir Dian Widhinafisa, S.STP, MM.
