SEMINAR ON THE ROLE OF STATISTICAL DATA IN DEVELOPMENT AND RELEASE THE RESULT OF ST2023

Tuesday (12/12) at the Hotel Laras Asri Resort and Spa Salatiga, Statistics-BPS of Salatiga Municipality carried out a Seminar on the Role of Statistical Data in Development as well as releasing data on the results of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST). Head of Statistics-BPS of Salatiga Municipality, Satriono , S.Si, M.M in his speech said that the role of statistical data is very important in sustainable development. In this case, related to the activity of releasing data on the results of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST), He also said that the main objective of the ST2023 data results is to provide data regarding the national agricultural structure and provide an up-to-date agricultural sampling frame. The results of the agricultural census data collection show that the sengon/jeunjing/albazia plants are mostly cultivated by Individual Agricultural Enterprises (UTP) in Salatiga, namely 33.58 percent. The number of UTP results from ST2023 showed a decrease compared to the ST2013 results of 5.61%. The role of statistical data in regional development can also be seen from the role of BPS macro indicators, namely the Human Development Index (HDI) figure and the poverty rate. The HDI figure for Salatiga Municipality will be the highest HDI figure in Central Java in 2023, namely 84.99. The poverty rate indicator in Salatiga Municipality has decreased from the previous year. In 2023, the poverty rate for Salatiga Municipality will be 4.66 percent, a decrease compared to 2022 of 4.73 percent.
