January 2021 Jawa Tengah Experiences Inflation of 0.43 percent, the highest inflation in Kudus Regency is 0.77 percent

In January 2022, Jawa Tengah experienced inflation of 0.43 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.76. Of the six CPI cities in Jawa Tengah, all cities experienced inflation.
The main cause of inflation in Jawa Tengah in January 2022 was the increase in prices for broiler meat, rice, household fuel, powdered/liquid detergent soap, and cooking oil. The main driver of inflation in Jawa Tengah is the decline in prices for red chili, cayenne pepper, broiler eggs, bottled water, and money transfer administration costs.
The inflation rate for the calendar year January 2022 is 0.43 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (January 2022 to January 2021) is 1.91 percent.
