In 2022, BPS Salatiga City will carry out the National Labor Force
Survey (Sakernas), which is a survey specifically designed to collect
employment data. Sakernas is held semi-annually, namely Semester I in February
and Semester II in August 2022.
In general, Sakernas August 2022 data collection is to provide
sustainable basic employment data, with estimates at the Regency/City,
Provincial and National levels. So the implementation of this data collection
will produce basic employment data for Salatiga City, Central Java Province and
Nationally. In particular, Sakernas aims to obtain estimated data on the number
of working people, the number of unemployed, other employment indicators and
their development. The Sakernas data collection also has a specific purpose to
collect information related to the impact of Covid-19 on employment in
Indonesia.
The data collected is information from each selected household member
regarding the general condition of each household member (name, relationship
with the head of the household, gender, month and year of birth and age). For
household members aged 5 years and over, information was collected on the
Population Identification Number (NIK), marital status, school participation,
education and training, place of residence 5 years ago, disability, work
activities in the past week, main job, search activities. work/preparing for
new businesses, work experience and other activities as well as the Work Card
Program.
Activities have started from officer training which was held on 18 and
19 July 2022 at the Wahid Hotel Salatiga. Furthermore, data updating is carried
out on July 25 to August 7, 2022. Field data collection starts from August 8,
2022 to July 31, 2022. It is hoped that all levels of society can participate
in the success of the August 2022 Sakernas data collection. Quality and
accurate data educates the nation for advanced Indonesia.
