2017 NATIONAL STATISTICS DAY CELEBRATION OF BPS SALATIGA

Commemorating the National Statistics Day (HSN) which falls on September 26, 2017, BPS of Salatiga City held a Seminar "Peeled Complete Potential Economics of Salatiga City". The event was held at Hotel Laras Asri. HSN 2017 this time takes the theme "Work Together with Data". This theme is a call for all elements of the nation to work together, build Indonesia, with reference to statistics as its foundation.

The seminar was opened by Assistant I of Salatiga City Government, Mr. Daryadi, SH. Followed by exposure from the three speakers, Christantinus Diatmaja from Satya Wacana Christian University, Arfi'an Fuadi, Tokoh Muda Kota Salatiga and founder start up "Nyayur" and Henri Wagiyanto, S.Pt, M.Ec.Dev, MA as Head of Agency Salatiga City Statistics Center.

The event was attended by Heads of OPD, Chairman of GAPENSI, HIPMI, Camat and Lurah in the Neighborhood of Salatiga City. The discussion was held warmly between invited guests and the speakers. This event is expected to increase public awareness of the importance of statistics and socialize statistical data to be used in more accurate decision making. (RD)
